To be able to change your multi-factor authentication method yourself, you must still be able to use the previous method and log into your account. If you are no longer able to log into your account, for example because the previous multi-factor authentication method can no longer be accessed, please contact the HsH IT service.
- Log in to your Azure account.
- Click on your account manager at the top right
- Click on the View account button.
- Click on Update information in the Security information box.
You may now be asked to log in again. Log in again to continue.
Here you will see an overview of the multi-factor authentication methods you have stored. You can change the password and change or delete other methods.
Alternatively, you can also change the password in the Account Manager.
- Click on the Change or Delete button, depending on the desired action to customize your multi-factor authentication methods. Click on the Add login method button if you want to add another method.
For example, if you want to install an authentication app on a new device and no longer use the old device, we recommend deleting the previous app authentication method and creating a new login method for the new device.
